  • My private practice is focused primarily on counseling teens and parents, transitional-aged youth and families. If you are new to me or my services, you'll find information about who I am, how I work, and what I offer contained within. I am happy to offer a brief telephone consultation should you need more information.

The decision to seek a professional counselor is one that takes courage and some intuition.  Take your time to choose a therapist who not only provides a compassionate, non-judgmental atmosphere where you feel understood, but who also offers tangible ways for you to address and resolve whatever holds you back.

Psychotherapy studies consistently report that the quality of your connection to your therapist is at the heart of the transformative experience. Our first session we can assess the issues you want to address, come to  understand the ways I believe we can create the changes you desire, and gauge if I am the best fit for your unique needs.

  • I have seen that with compassionate attention to our pain, as well a reverence for the complexity of our inner experience, we can find greater contentment and fulfillment in our lives.

  • I earned a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Brandman University in Monterrey in 2012 and am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California.  As an LMFT I am trained and licensed to provide psychotherapy services to individuals as well couples and families.

My graduate program, decades of work, continuing education and life experience as a parent have reinforced my passion for approaches that value the innate wisdom that's inside each of us and utilize the vast advances in neuroscience as well a variety of strength-based approaches to heal traumatic wounds.

I've dedicated learning cutting edge psychotherapy modalities, with significant emphasis on the Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, somatic mindfulness and SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Childhood Emotions). My work in unique to a person's individual/families needs and life experiences.
